None The Same

"Can we eat this?" I smacked his hand away. "No, that's plastic." He gave me a puppy god face. "No!" I said in a stricter tone. He started to moap and walk away. "Whee!" the other one screamed. "Ger off of there!" I yelled. "But...but it's a pony." He said as he rode the couch. "No it's not." I said trying to get him off. I then felt arms wrap around my waist. "Pretty!" I felt a slight blush come over my face. "G-get off!" I said removing his hands. I heard the doorbell ring and him screaming, "We got another one!" Good gracious! What was the government thinking? After my husband had been in a terrible accidents in one of their labs they had decided to clone him. Each week sending a clone and I never got the perfect result. Many were failures and their mental capacity was of a 5 year old while some others were just stuck with one personality. "I called and told them to stop sending you guys over." I said a bit furious. Yet, one of the clones pointed at the package excitatly. I walked over and looked at the package. "Whole Human" was written across the paper. Everytime I got a clone I wanted to cry. My sweet darling was gone...and none of these replacements were the same. Everyday they just reminded me of how miserable I was without him. Yet, I kept trying to keep the tears in as my hands ran over the package. I started to rip it open and then he stood up. I slowly started to lift myself up. "I'm Iris and I'll be your caretaker for now on." I said. "Iris..." I nodded my head. For some reason he was different every small detail was there from his cheekbones to the little mole underneath his left eye. "Iris it's me..." I looked up at him confused. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "It's me." I took me a bref moment to realize what was happening. "I'm home." He said with a huge smile. I couldn't help but run into his open arms and I slowly breathed out his name. "Eric."
